Languages: German, English, French, Serbian
Olivia Stanimirov Rossi chose to study medicine with the goal of becoming an ENT specialist. She is passionate about the diversity of the specialty and enjoys caring for patients of all ages. Building close, personal relationships with her patients is one of her core values, and she believes that medical care should always be clear and easy to understand.
She completed her specialist training in Germany and Switzerland, including positions in Pforzheim, at Zurich University Hospital and at Zurich Children's Hospital. Several years spent in thoracic surgery at Zurich University Hospital, as well as nine years in a large group practice with regular quality circles and interdisciplinary collaboration, further broadened her expertise. This experience provided her with extensive knowledge in pulmonary and intensive care medicine, as well as a strong foundation in general medicine that allows her to look beyond the boundaries of ENT.
Within the field of otorhinolaryngology, her particular interests are allergology and the assessment and treatment of dizziness and balance disorders. She has many years of experience in the full spectrum of ENT medicine.
Olivia Stanimirov Rossi is also actively involved in professional medical organisations. She serves as the ENT delegate to the Zurich Medical Association (AGZ)and has been President of the Zurich Society of ENT Specialists since September 2024.
